You are missed when you do not come. All main \;meetings \;at the annual \;camp \;meet ing \;in South Lancaster - June 12-20th (This will replace our regul ar Monthly DEAF \;meeting \;for June) are being interpreted into ASL (American Sign Language). \; Please share this invitation with all DEAF group friends to specially come on Saturday\, June 20th where we will share Deaf Fellowship and a potluck picnic. We will also have a short DEAF devotional and Bible study on Saturday led by Amanda Colgan a fter lunch. \; \; If you are coming on Saturday\, please remem ber to bring food to share for our potluck (picnic) lunch. People, which will take place in 2016, is the first of its kind in Seven
th-day Adventist history. Deaf and Deaf-Blind from around the world are
invited. Never before did we think of these persons as we do today. Several congres
ses for Deaf and Deaf-blind people have been organized, including among
others, those in Europe, South and North America, Brazil, etc., but neve
r on the scale on which we wish to organize this one. This Congress for
Deaf and Deaf-Blind People is marking its time and will be an historical
event. It will mark an important date in the history of the Seventh-day
Adventist Church.

ntended to address to all sign language interpreters, mediators and lead
ers of the Deaf Community, within our Seventh-day Adventist Church. This project was developed with the intention
of promoting the integration of our ILS within the Adventist Church and
remember to reach them out. Many interpreters feel tired,
depressed or exalted by their work and we should seek a positive balanc
e that benefits the professionalism of the performance, the quality and
our commitment to God.
